Dr. Lisa J. Wilson

Dr. Lisa J. Wilson

Veterinarian

Dr. Lisa J. Wilson graduated from The Ohio State University in 1996 and joined our practice in June of that year. Dr. Wilson is dedicated to our practice’s medical, diagnostic, and surgical excellence. She performs soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, including elbow, knee, hip, and fracture repairs. Dr. Wilson enjoys seeing dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, birds, and exotics. She is available for appointments on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Dr. Walter E. Martin

Dr. Walter E. Martin

Veterinarian

Dr. Walter E. Martin was born and raised in Brook Park, Ohio. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Biology from Cleveland State University in 1998. He then attended the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine where he earned his DVM. He joined our clinic in June of 2003. Dr. Martin enjoys seeing cats and dogs as patients. His areas of interest include small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. He does enjoy taking extra time to get to the root of frustrating skin problems. Dr. Martin strives to keep our hospital up to date on the newest medical therapies available. Dr.Martin is available for appointments on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Dr. Martin’s hobbies include fishing, golfing, cooking and spending time with his family and his pets.
Dr. Cathy Palomar

Dr. Cathy Palomar

Veterinarian

Dr. Cathy Palomar graduated from The Ohio State University in 1988 and has worked in the Greater Cleveland area for over 20 years. She joined our team in the fall of 2005. She specializes in the treatment and surgery of rabbits and other small mammals. She has a loyal following due to her experience and commitment. Dr. Palomar is available for appointments on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Dr. Kimberly Kirby

Dr. Kimberly Kirby

Veterinarian

Dr. Kimberly Kirby grew up in Fairview Park, Ohio and graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She has since been practicing in the Cleveland/Lorain area and joined our team in February of 2011. Dr. Kirby enjoys seeing dogs and cats as well as other small mammals. Her areas of practice are general medicine and surgery with a special interest in ultrasound. She loves to provide her patients with the individual attention they deserve. Dr. Kirby is available for appointments on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Dr. Melissa Rohrs

Dr. Melissa Rohrs

Veterinarian

Dr. Melissa Rohrs graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 and joined us in August of that year. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and fencing. Her professional interests include exotic mammals, birds, dentistry and preventative care for dogs and cats. You can see Dr. Rohrs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Dr. Corrigan

Dr. Corrigan

Veterinarian

Dr. Corrigan was born and raised in Cochranton, Pennsylvania. She attended Kent State University, graduating with honors in 2010 with a B.S. in Conservation Biology. From there, she moved to Blacksburg, Virginia to attend the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. She graduated in 2014 and moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina where she worked as a small animal veterinarian for 2 years. Dr. Corrigan moved to northeastern Ohio in the summer of 2016 where she worked as a relief veterinarian and associate veterinarian at an area practice until early 2018. She is excited to work with the staff and clients of AAMC.

Dr. Corrigan’s furry family consists of her dog, Nixie, and her cat, Prewitt. When they can spare her attention for a moment, Dr. Corrigan enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and family. During her free time, she enjoys running, cooking, reading, and hiking with Nixie (Prewitt prefers to stay in and watch Netflix).

Dr. David A. Hammond

Veterinarian

Dr. David A. Hammond was the owner and director of the clinic until his retirement in 2018. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1994. He opened our clinic in October of 1996 and added an addition in October of 2000. Dr. Hammond was committed to medical and surgical excellence. He had special interest and experience in avian and exotic animals, and he was an excellent soft tissue surgeon. Dr. Hammond dedicated much of his personal time and clinic resources to bringing low-cost services to area rescue groups. He hand-picked and trained an excellent staff to continue to serve our clients moving forward.

Registered Veterinary Technicians:

Our team of registered veterinary technicians is headed by Sheryl who has been with us since 1998 and includes Erin, Megan, Carrie, Jessica N., Stephanie, Chelsie, Amanda, Debbie, and Sadie. Their duties include drawing blood, performing laboratory procedures and tests, monitoring anesthesia, administering medications, performing dental cleanings, and taking care of patients. They are highly skilled and dedicated to providing excellent care to your pet.

Assistants:

Our team of assistants includes Jessica G, Steve, Courtney M, Sami, Courtney C, Olivia, and Faith. Our trained assistants help the doctors and technicians during appointments, assist with hospital care, client education and communication, and keep our hospital neat and clean. 

Receptionists:

Our team of receptionists is headed by Janet, who has been with us since 1999 and includes Kelsey, Lori, Kelly, Jackie, Beverly, and Courtney C. They are the friendly voices and faces that you will encounter when you come in or call into the hospital. Their duties include scheduling appointments and client communication.

Grooming:

Our receptionists in our grooming boutique are available to schedule your grooming session and answer any questions. Theresa and Nanette are our groomers, who each have been grooming pets for over 30 years.
