Dr. Lisa

Veterinarian

Dr. Lisa J. Wilson graduated from The Ohio State University in 1996 and joined our practice in June of that year. Dr. Wilson is dedicated to our practice’s medical, diagnostic, and surgical excellence. She performs soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, including elbow, knee, hip, and fracture repairs. Dr. Wilson enjoys seeing dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and exotics.

Dr. Walter
Veterinarian

Dr. Walter E. Martin was born and raised in Brook Park, Ohio. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Biology from Cleveland State University in 1998. He then attended the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine where he earned his DVM. He joined our clinic in June of 2003. Dr. Martin enjoys seeing cats and dogs as patients.

His areas of interest include small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. He does enjoy taking extra time to get to the root of frustrating skin problems. Dr. Martin strives to keep our hospital up to date on the newest medical therapies available. Dr. Martin’s hobbies include fishing, golfing, cooking, and spending time with his family and his pets.

Dr. Cathy
Veterinarian

Dr. Cathy Palomar graduated from The Ohio State University in 1988 and has worked in the Greater Cleveland area for over 20 years. She joined our team in the fall of 2005. She specializes in the treatment and surgery of rabbits and other small mammals. She has a loyal following due to her experience and commitment.

Dr. Kimberly
Veterinarian

Dr. Kimberly Kirby grew up in Fairview Park, Ohio and graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She has since been practicing in the Cleveland/Lorain area and joined our team in February of 2011.

Dr. Kirby enjoys seeing dogs and cats as well as other small mammals. Her areas of practice are general medicine and surgery with a special interest in ultrasound. She loves to provide her patients with the individual attention they deserve.

I have been with Animal and Avian for almost 2 years. I have been working within the veterinary space for 21 years.

My favorite part of the job is working with an amazing group of talented and dedicated people who strive to provide exceptional service to the community’s pets. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, being outside, and spending time with my family.

I have been in the animal field for almost 35 years. I started at Animal & Avian in 1998. I enjoy helping in surgery, especially orthopedics & exploratories.

I also like doing dentals and taking radiographs. Outside of work, I like to work on puzzles, read mystery books, hiking, swimming, kayaking and spending time with my pets I have had over the years.

I started with AAMC in 2009. My favorite part of the job is surgery and dentals as well as client education. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and two girls, gardening and doing yoga.

I started as a veterinary assistant in April of 2014, and obtained my RVT license in August of 2014. I have been with the AAMC team for 10 years.

I love working with the variety of species we see here and esp love performing dental cleanings and assisting with ultrasounds. I have two Australian Shepherd mixes, Remy and Rudder. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, camping, and spending time with friends and family.

I joined the AAMC team in 2015 as a veterinary assistant. In 2018 I obtained my Veterinary Technician degree from Tri-C. What I love most about the job is that every day is different and comes with a challenge. I also enjoy assisting in surgery, client education, and continuously learning new skills. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and being active.

I have been in the Veterinary field since 2015 and I started here at AAMC in 2021 after I had my son. I love trying to make actual connections with our patients in hopes that they remember the good things about vet clinics since they can be so scary.

In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and my zoo at home. I currently have 5 dogs (Baylee, Zekery, Kallie, Daisy & Skylar), 2 cats (Chester & Maizee) and 5 chickens. I look forward to meeting all of our clients and their awesome pets.

Vet Assistant

I have been apart of the AAMC team since 2021 and have been in the veterinary field for 6 years. Prior to the veterinary field, I worked several years in animal welfare and also volunteered my time in the veterinary clinic within a local animal shelter. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Biology and am working towards my veterinary technology degree to obtain my RVT license.

Client education is one of my favorite parts of working in this field, as well as helping animals of all shapes and sizes. In my free time, I enjoy doing anything outdoors, gardening especially, and spending time with my friends, family and fur-kids.

I have 2 dogs (Emma and Henry), 2 cats (Fiona and Luci), and 2 crested geckos (Luna and Malcolm). Did you know that reptiles can sometimes clone themselves through a process called parthenogenesis? That’s how I got Malcolm! I can’t wait to see you with your pet!

I am a veterinarian assistant. I have been with AAMC since September 2023. My favorite part of the job is being able to help all of the animals, and educate clients. Some of my hobbies outside of work are photography, going to abandon buildings, and spending time with my family. I have 2 dogs named Scout and Nick, also have 2 cats named Gia, and Midnight. The AAMC has given me such a good opportunity to learn and grow in my career!

I started my journey in pet grooming 36 yrs ago with Gail Rudowicz as my boss and teacher. Thanks to my co-worker Theresa, who also happens to be my sister. I started working for AAMC in February of 2021. I am Bob and Carl’s human, the 2 most lovable Dalmatians a girl could have.

Receptionist

I have been with AAMC since 2005. I love working with animals of all kinds and their owners as well. I am particularly fond of our seniors; their grey faces hold so much wisdom. The best part of my job is being able to be part of helping animals and their owners through all stages of their lives. Listening and talking with them and sharing pet stories always warms my heart.

I currently have four dogs, a cat, two chickens, six goats and two alpacas that I enjoy caring for. I also enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering for Medina 4H, helping kids with 4H dog agility and trying to get my own dog and myself to learn as well.

My outside hobbies are competing in the sport of dog agility, roller coasters and traveling to Disney World with my family as much as possible. I currently have 11 dogs.

I have been with AAMC since the Summer of 2020. I am one of the Client Service Representatives, and sometimes work as a doctor assistant. What I love most about my job is being there both for our animal patients as well as their human families.

I enjoy the versatility my position offers me and the continued opportunities to learn and do more. In my free time, I enjoy going out with my friends and family, swimming, crafting and curling up with a good book and my fur babies. I have 2 dogs (Sadie & Rayanna), a bearded dragon (Blue) and 2 rabbits (Lilly & Mara Jade) in my household.
